Who we are...
Whatever the name you call it: café-couette, bed and breakfast or country lodge, all around the world they are synonymous to warm welcome. Café-Couette.com is a directory that displays only bed and breakfasts. Here you will not find any hotels, no cottages nor houses for rent. On the other hand, we welcome B&B from all around the world. This Web page you are reading is physically located in Canada, but we expect to receive subscriptions from bed & breakfast all around the world. Our goal is to make Café-Couette.com an indispensable tool that anyone who is planning to sleep in a B&B anywhere in the world will want to use. Therefore, in order to provide a B&B list as "complete" as possible, we decided to allow B&B owners to register their establishments to our basic service free of charge. That way, even the B&B owners who do not want to budget for our V.I.P. service (with Web page, photos, etc.) can be listed on our Web site. Everybody wins!

A word from the Café-couette.com's founder...
On a trip, a couple of years ago, my wife and I spent a night in a bed & breakfast instead of an hotel. Since then, we have been using bed & breakfast whenever we go on a trip. Whether it be in Canada, Europe, or the United States, we where happy to find that the owners of bed & breakfasts are very hospitable and happy to talk about their region. That's why people who stay in a B&B can learn so much more about the part of the country they are visiting then those who choose an hotel. (And most of the time, it is cheaper then an hotel, breakfast included, nothing less.) We are so much in love with the concept of bed & breakfast, that we do not stay in hotels anymore. We even plan (some day), to open our own bed & breakfast. Until that day arrives, i asked myself: why not use my Web design skill for the benefit of bed and breakfast around the world? That's when I decided to create this Web site in wich every B&B can register wherever they are. A new tool now exists that can help bed & breakfast lovers like us find new places to visit, and the rest of the world to discover the joy of sleeping in a bed & breakfast for the first time.
